First milestone:Stress Awareness Drive- 2015

Emergence of IT enabled industries and globalization of business has led to the 24x7 working of the business houses. This type of working has helped in the economic growth of the country and the paying capacity of the individuals. Simultaneously, this had led to extensive travelling, hectic day schedules and elongated working hours; which leads to a stressful and unorganized daily life. As a result the stress born diseases are increasing.
Some of the common stress born diseases are: heart diseases, Asthma, Obesity, Diabetis, Headaches ,Depressions and Anxiety, Gastrointestinal problems, Alzeimers disease, Accelerated aging ,premature death. Doctors, Dietitians and Therapist  suggests various remedies like walking, exercising,  yoga, meditation, diet plans etc. for these stress born consequences. Hectic and unorganized life style does not allow us to have a scheduled remedy. So, an easy and manageable remedy of stress is the requirement of the day.
To educate general public about the critical health issues arising because of stress and its effective solution; Lucknow based company Pratap Pharmaceuticals has initiated a stress awareness drive. In this drive two presentations have been uploaded on slideshare.net which has been linked on pratappharma.blogspot.com. First presentation entitled Stress- A silent killer describes how stress acts as a silent killer on human body and the remedies to reduce stress. Second presentation entitled, Nervine Cure- A Good Memory Enhancer and stress reliever describes the technical facts about the medicine.
This drive was started in first week of April, 15 and has received more than 1200 view from all over the world. Details are listed below.

WORLD MILK DAY-2015

Milk should be the main ingredient of infant and early school kids. To educate the students about the role of milk in the growth and development of their body, we have taken an initiative to make the child understand the need of milk in their growth. We are contacting various pre-schools to take-up  this issue as an activity seriously and educate the students and their mother with our presentation. We also recommend you to take up facemask activity suggested on FAO website.

Download the facemasks, Colour them in. Cut around the edge. Make two holes and attach some string or elastic. Moo or bleat. This activity will make them remember that they had celebrated milk day and they should drink milk.

First World Milk Day was held in 2001, many countries spread throughout the world have participated in the celebrations and the number is growing each year.

The Day provides an opportunity to focus attention on milk and to publicize activities connected with milk and the milk industry. The fact that many countries choose to do this on the same day lends additional importance to individual national celebrations and shows that milk is a global food.

Let us take part in this noble international celebration.
